Grounding

This piece ripped itself out of me in 11 minutes.

Not soft, not slow.

It was violent.

People think grounding is peace.

But when you carry nightmares, unreleased screams,

and demons you haven’t named—

planting yourself cuts deep.

This piece is roots clawing through tangled weeds,

a body trying to settle into the earth

without falling apart.

This is what grounding really looks like

when you’ve been through it.
